Custom Embroidery Services Precision Thread Work for Brands That Mean Business

There is a tactile quality to embroidery that no printed decoration can replicate. The weight of the thread. The slight raise of the logo above the fabric. The way it holds its structure after a hundred washes. These are not aesthetic details they are signals of quality that your customers, clients, and team members register immediately.

At Acticsports, we provide professional custom embroidery services for corporate brands, sports organisations, uniform suppliers, and fashion labels across the United States, United Kingdom, and international markets. Every order is digitised, stitched, and quality-checked in-house with the consistency and precision that commercial embroidery demands.

Why Embroidery Still Outclasses Every Digital Method

In an industry where new decoration technologies emerge regularly, embroidery has not merely survived it has retained its position as the premium standard for branded apparel. The reason is straightforward: no printed method produces the same perception of quality, and that perception has real commercial value.

Thread does not fade

Embroidered designs are constructed from dyed polyester or rayon thread a material that does not fade, wash out, or degrade under UV exposure. A garment with an embroidered logo will look identical after 200 washes as it did on the day it was produced.

Embroidery communicates premium positioning

The physical dimension of an embroidered logo the texture, the weight, the precision of the stitching communicates a standard of quality that printed alternatives cannot replicate. For corporate uniforms, hospitality apparel, and client-facing workwear, this distinction carries direct commercial significance.

It works on materials that printing cannot

Heavy fleece, structured caps, knitted fabrics, leather patches, towelling, and technical outerwear embroidery adheres to substrates where screen printing and DTF are either impractical or produce inferior results.

Every stitch is structural

Unlike a printed design that sits on the fabric surface, embroidery is woven into the garment. It cannot be scratched off, peeled away, or removed without physically damaging the fabric beneath it.

The Craft Behind Every Stitch

The quality of an embroidered garment is determined before the first stitch is placed. Digitisation the process of converting artwork into a stitch file is where precision embroidery begins, and where inferior suppliers consistently underperform.

Professional digitisation on every order

Every design submitted to Acticsports is digitised by our in-house team using professional embroidery software. We do not apply generic auto-digitisation to your artwork. Each design is manually constructed as a stitch file, with attention to stitch direction, density, underlay, and pull compensation the technical parameters that determine whether an embroidered logo looks sharp or mediocre on fabric.

Thread selection and colour matching

We work with a comprehensive range of Madeira and Robison-Anton thread colours, with Pantone matching available for orders requiring precise brand colour accuracy. Thread selection is confirmed at the design approval stage before production commences.

Stabilisation for every fabric type

Different fabrics require different backing and topping materials to produce clean, dimensionally accurate embroidery. Knitted fabrics, fleece, and performance materials each require specific stabilisation approaches our production team selects and applies the appropriate materials for every garment type in your order.

Consistent registration across large runs

Maintaining identical placement, density, and colour consistency across hundreds or thousands of garments is a production discipline. Our embroidery machines are calibrated and monitored throughout every run to ensure that the first garment and the last garment in an order are indistinguishable.

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Embroidery

What is the best file format for embroidery artwork submission?

Vector files are the preferred format for embroidery artwork Adobe Illustrator (.AI) and .EPS files allow our digitisation team to work with clean, scalable artwork. High-resolution PNG files at 300 DPI or above are also accepted. JPEG files are accepted but not recommended, as compression artefacts can affect digitisation accuracy. If your artwork requires redrawing or vectorisation, our design team will handle this prior to digitisation at no additional charge.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom embroidery?

Our minimum order quantity for custom embroidery is 12 pieces per design. This threshold reflects the setup time involved in digitisation and machine preparation. For orders below 12 pieces, a sample or setup fee may apply lease contact our team to discuss your specific requirements.

How many thread colours can be used in an embroidered design?

Standard embroidery accommodates up to 15 thread colours within a single design. Most corporate logos and brand marks use between 2 and 6 colours. Designs with a high colour count increase production complexity and may affect per-unit pricing our team will advise at the quotation stage.

What is the maximum embroidery area per garment?

Maximum embroidery area depends on the garment type and placement location. For a standard left chest placement on a polo shirt, the typical maximum dimensions are 10cm x 10cm. Larger placements such as full back embroidery on a jacket are available and priced accordingly. Our team will confirm maximum dimensions for your specific garment at the enquiry stage.

Can embroidery be applied to caps and structured headwear?

Yes. Cap embroidery is one of our most frequently requested services. Structured caps require a specific hooping approach and stabilisation method to produce clean, accurate embroidery on curved surfaces. We produce front panel, side panel, and rear strap embroidery on a full range of structured and unstructured cap styles.

Do you offer Pantone thread colour matching?

Yes. We offer Pantone thread colour matching for clients with defined brand colour standards. Thread colours are matched from our Madeira and Robison-Anton thread libraries to the closest available Pantone equivalent. Where an exact match is not achievable within standard thread ranges, we will present the nearest available option for your approval before production commences.

What is puff embroidery and is it available?

Puff embroidery is a technique in which a foam underlay is placed beneath the stitching, causing the design to rise above the fabric surface and create a three-dimensional effect. It is commonly used for cap embroidery, streetwear logos, and fashion applications where visual prominence is a design objective. We offer puff embroidery on selected garment types contact our team to confirm availability for your specific requirements.

How does embroidery compare to screen printing for corporate uniforms?

For corporate uniforms and client-facing workwear, embroidery is generally the preferred method because it communicates a higher standard of quality and durability. Screen printing produces a flat, surface-level result that can fade or crack over time, whereas embroidery is structurally integrated into the garment and retains its appearance indefinitely. For garments where design complexity, colour count, or fabric type makes embroidery impractical, screen printing or DTF printing are suitable alternatives our team can advise on the most appropriate method for your specific programme.

Can you embroider on garments we supply?

Yes. We offer embroidery on client-supplied garments. Please contact our team in advance to confirm that your chosen garments are suitable for the embroidery process fabric type, weight, and construction all affect the embroidery approach required. We will advise on any pre-treatment or stabilisation requirements before confirming the order.

Do you supply embroidered garments on a white-label basis?

Yes. We produce embroidered apparel on a white-label basis for uniform suppliers, corporate merchandise agencies, and retail buyers sourcing from Pakistan for the USA, UK, and European markets. Production is delivered to your specification your labelling, your packaging, and your documentation requirements.
