Fleece Jackets

Custom Fleece Jackets Made for Brands, Teams and Businesses

Few garments work as hard as a well-made fleece. It keeps the wearer warm without weighing them down, layers easily under a shell and looks just as right on a training ground as it does in an office. That versatility is exactly why custom fleece jackets remain a best-selling line for apparel brands and a go-to choice for teams and organisations. Actic Sports produces fleece jackets from the ground up to match your design. You choose the fabric, the cut, the colours and the branding. We handle the sourcing, sampling, stitching and finishing, then deliver a product your customers or team members will actually want to wear.

What Sets Our Fleece Jackets Apart

Plenty of suppliers can sew a zip into a piece of fleece. The difference shows after the tenth wash, when a cheaper jacket has pilled, stretched or faded. As a fleece jacket manufacturer, we focus on the details that decide how a garment performs long after delivery.

Fabric That Stays Consistent

Fleece quality varies from roll to roll if it is not controlled. We check each batch for weight, pile density and shade before it reaches the cutting table, so the jackets in your bulk order feel the same as the sample you signed off.

Built to Resist Pilling

Pilling is the number one complaint with low-grade fleece. Our fabrics carry an anti-pilling treatment that keeps the surface smooth and the jacket looking new for longer.

Designed Around You, Not a Catalogue

We do not push you into a fixed style sheet. Pattern, fit, panels, trims and branding are all developed from your brief or tech pack.

Your Brand, Start to Finish

Through our private label and OEM service, every jacket leaves with your labels, your tags and your packaging. Your customers see your brand and nothing else.

Choosing the Right Fleece Fabric

Fleece is made by brushing polyester fibres to raise a soft pile that holds warm air close to the body. How that pile is built changes the warmth, weight and look of the finished jacket. These are the fabrics we produce with most often.

Recycled Fleece — A Lower-Impact Choice

Recycled polyester fleece gives brands a more responsible material option while keeping the soft handfeel buyers expect. It is increasingly requested by retailers and corporate clients working towards sustainability targets.

Sherpa Fleece — Maximum Warmth, Premium Feel

Sherpa's deep, curly pile gives the cosy appearance of shearling at a fraction of the cost and weight. Use it as a full outer fabric for a statement lifestyle piece, or as a lining, collar or pocket trim to lift a standard jacket into a premium range.

Microfleece — Light, Smooth and Layer-Friendly

With a shorter, finer pile, microfleece is lighter and more breathable than polar fleece. It moves easily with the body, sits comfortably under an outer shell and provides a flat, even surface that shows fine embroidery at its best.

Polar Fleece — The Reliable All-Rounder

Soft, warm and quick-drying, polar fleece jackets are the workhorse of the category. They offer excellent thermal insulation for their weight, handle frequent washing well and suit almost any audience, from youth teams to corporate staff.

Matching Fabric Weight to Purpose

Fleece weight is measured in GSM (grams per square metre). A higher GSM means a denser pile, more warmth and a more substantial feel.

Lightweight Fleece (150–200 GSM)

Light fleece is thin, breathable and easy to move in. It works best as a mid-layer under a shell jacket, for active training sessions, or as a standalone piece in mild climates where heavy insulation is not needed.

Midweight Fleece (250–300 GSM)

Midweight fleece balances warmth and comfort, which makes it the most popular choice for everyday jackets. It suits team uniforms, staff wear and general retail collections that are worn across several seasons.

Heavyweight Fleece (320–400+ GSM)

Heavy fleece delivers maximum warmth and a premium, solid handfeel. It is the right choice for standalone outerwear, winter ranges and sherpa designs built to handle colder conditions without an extra layer.

If you are unsure which weight suits your customers, tell us where and how the jackets will be worn and we will recommend a fabric to fit.

Popular Fleece Jacket Styles

Full-Zip Jackets

Open-fronted and easy to throw on, the full-zip is the most flexible fleece silhouette. It layers effortlessly and works for retail, sport and workwear programmes alike.

Quarter-Zip Pullovers

A quarter zip fleece gives a tailored, sporty look with a neat chest area that frames a logo well. Coaches, golf clubs and corporate teams favour it for a polished yet relaxed appearance.

Hooded Fleece

A built-in hood adds extra coverage against wind and cold, making hooded fleece a natural fit for outdoor brands, casual collections and younger audiences.

Fleece Vests

By removing the sleeves, a fleece vest keeps the torso warm while giving full freedom of movement. It is a practical addition to workwear kits and layering collections.

Fleece with Softshell Panels

Combining fleece with softshell overlays on high-wear areas such as shoulders, elbows and cuffs improves wind resistance and abrasion strength while keeping the breathable comfort of fleece.

Branding Your Fleece Jackets

Adding your logo is what turns a blank garment into a branded product. Each decoration method behaves differently on fleece, so we match the technique to your artwork and the fabric pile.

Embroidery

is the preferred choice for most embroidered fleece jackets. Stitching sits securely on the fabric, survives heavy washing and gives a textured, high-end finish on chests, sleeves and back panels.

Screen printing

is economical for bold graphics across larger quantities where the design uses a few solid colours.

DTF transfers

reproduce detailed, multi-colour artwork cleanly and are well suited to smaller batches.

3D embossing

creates a raised, dimensional logo that adds a premium touch to lifestyle ranges.

Reflective elements

boost visibility in low light for running, outdoor and work applications.

Woven patches and badges

add a classic finishing detail, especially on sherpa and heavyweight fleece where fine printing may not sit evenly.

How We Protect Quality

Fleece looks simple, but small production shortcuts show up quickly in the hands of the end user. Our inspections concentrate on:

  • Even pile height and fabric weight across every piece
  • Strong, flat seams that stay comfortable against the skin
  • Zips that run smoothly and sit straight along the placket
  • Logos that match the approved size, colour and position
  • Shrinkage and colour-fastness testing before shipment

Bulk and Wholesale Fleece Jacket Orders

Our minimum order quantities are designed to be practical for new brands while scaling efficiently for large programmes. The more you order, the better the unit pricing becomes. For seasonal reorders, we keep your approved fabrics, colours and specifications on record, so each new run matches the last.

Sherpa is generally warmer thanks to its deeper, denser pile, making it suited to winter outerwear. Polar fleece is lighter and more versatile, which is why it is used for everyday jackets and team wear.
